Baby's furniture all ready!

So Baby could come at any time now, and we've been working hard to get the little space we have ready for him or her. Last weekend my good friend Jody was over to help me paint the old dresser from mom's house, and my other friend Elisa brought Grandma Sop's rocking chair back from Amish Country, PA with a brand new seat on it, hand-woven by an old Amish man. My mom did the re-finishing work to peel about 50 or more years of paint off the chair and stain it. It is so special to us! I even had time this week to put a new fabric cover on the baby's hamper so it would match the crib skirt that my mom is making for the Baby. So exciting!
