Monday marks 2 weeks until our due date. Baby can come at any time now! We have been trying to soak up our last few days alone together before the big arrival. Today we headed down to Alexandria, VA for a taste of the frozen custard at Dairy Godmother's, a cute little shop that President Obama made famous earlier this summer when he took his girls there. They whip up really yummy homemade custard and sorbet. I had chocolate custard, and then went back for a kiddie scoop of lemon lavender sorbet. Why not? William of course opted for the large sundae!
Then we headed down into Old Town and walked around a bit until we became too hot and tired to keep going, so we came home for a nap. Tomorrow it's back to work for me... not looking forward to that :( Hoping Baby comes soon so I don't have to start teaching!
