He has been taking steps on his own since about about 10 months, but it wasn't until yesterday, Sept. 8th, that we saw him actually walk across the whole room and into another room. One year and about one week old! Luckily, both William and I were there to see him in action! Here are a few short videos I took just on the cell phone tonight while he walked the courtyard of our building. He was quite motivated to walk to his girlfriend Ani when she came out to play! She was so excited for him to be walking! Now the real trouble begins!!

Oh, he is too cute! Love the way he and Ani get so excited when they see each other. Looks like he is well on his way to exploring the world.
